The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, a symbol of speed and championship legacy, has been honored with a faithful recreation now part of the Ron Sturgeon Collection. This tribute, built on a 1982 Ferrari 400i chassis, features hand-shaped aluminum bodywork and a Dino-sourced V6 engine, capturing the essence of the original's design and performance.
Developed in response to 1957 FIA regulations, the original 250 TR played a pivotal role in Ferrari securing the 1958 Manufacturers' World Championship. With fewer than 35 authentic examples produced, recreations like this one serve as a bridge to the past, allowing a new generation to appreciate Ferrari's racing mastery.
Ron Sturgeon, founder of the DFW Car & Toy Museum, remarked on the recreation's ability to embody the original's elegance and soul. This addition not only enriches the collection but also pays homage to a defining chapter in automotive history.
