The DFW Car & Toy Museum has recently expanded its collection with the acquisition of a 2001 Isuzu VehiCROSS, a vehicle celebrated for its futuristic design and exceptional off-road performance. This addition underscores the museum's commitment to showcasing unique and influential automobiles that have left a mark on automotive history.
The Isuzu VehiCROSS, powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine, is renowned for its 215 horsepower and 230 lb-ft of torque, coupled with an advanced Torque on Demand all-wheel-drive system. Its inclusion in the museum's Ron Sturgeon Collection offers visitors a glimpse into the innovative Japanese automotive design of the early 2000s, featuring amenities like automatic climate control and a factory cassette stereo with an in-dash CD changer.
Brian Sturgeon, Director of the DFW Car & Toy Museum, emphasizes the VehiCROSS's unique appeal, stating, 'Its combination of aggressive styling, off-road prowess, and limited production numbers make it a perfect addition to our collection.' The vehicle's durability is evidenced by its 157,000 miles on the odometer, a testament to its adventure-ready spirit.
Produced in limited quantities, the VehiCROSS has achieved legendary status among collectors and off-road enthusiasts. Its distinctive exterior and refined driving experience make it a must-see for visitors. The DFW Car & Toy Museum, located at https://dfwcarandtoymuseum.com, invites the public to explore this and over 200 other cars, alongside thousands of toys and collectibles, in one of Texas's most unique free attractions.
