Accelleron Appoints Ravin Pillay-Ramsamy as President of Service Division

Accelleron, a global technology leader in turbocharging, fuel injection, and digital solutions for heavy-duty applications, announced today the appointment of Ravin Pillay-Ramsamy as President of the Service Division and member of the Executive Committee, effective October 1, 2026. Based in Baden, Switzerland, Pillay-Ramsamy will succeed Roland Schwarz, who has been appointed CEO of OMT, an Accelleron company specialized in fuel injection. Klaus Heim, current CEO of OMT, will retire at the end of September 2026.

The appointment underscores Accelleron's commitment to strengthening its service business, which is crucial for the marine and energy industries as they navigate the energy transition. With a heritage of over 100 years, Accelleron serves customers in more than 100 locations across over 50 countries, and its services are mission-critical for the ongoing shift toward more sustainable operations.

Daniel Bischofberger, CEO of Accelleron, welcomed Pillay-Ramsamy, stating, "He brings extensive international leadership experience in industrial services, engineering, business development and M&A, combined with deep expertise in power generation, oil and gas, and industrial infrastructure. His proven track record in leading global service organizations will be highly valuable as we continue to strengthen our service business and create value for our customers worldwide."

Pillay-Ramsamy joins Accelleron from Sulzer, where he currently serves as Division President Services and is a member of the Executive Committee. His career includes senior leadership roles within Sulzer's Services division across EMEA and Asia Pacific, and earlier experience at Turbine Services Ltd. in the United States, where he held positions as Business Development Director and Vice President Engineering. He holds a Global MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master's degree in Management and Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.

This leadership change comes at a time when the marine and energy sectors are increasingly focused on reducing emissions and improving efficiency. Accelleron's service division plays a pivotal role in maintaining and upgrading turbochargers and other equipment, ensuring that existing fleets can operate more cleanly and efficiently. The company's products and services are integral to the performance of vessels and power plants, and the new president's experience in industrial services and energy will be key to driving growth and innovation.

Accelleron Industries Ltd (ACLN: SIX Swiss Exchange) is dedicated to accelerating sustainability in these industries. With more than 3,200 employees, the company continuously innovates to deliver best-in-class solutions. The transition in service leadership is part of a broader strategy to enhance customer value and support the industry's move toward cleaner technologies.
