Activate, the world’s first active gaming facility and TikTok viral sensation, is set to open its doors in Regina, Saskatchewan, on August 21, 2024. To celebrate this milestone, the facility will offer free admission from August 21 to August 28, 2024, allowing the community to experience its immersive entertainment options at no cost.
Following successful launches in major U.S. cities like Chicago and Dallas, as well as Canadian locations including Calgary and Winnipeg, Activate is bringing its unique gaming experience to Regina. The facility, located at 2550 Quance Street, spans 12,989 square feet and features 12 different game rooms. Each room offers a variety of challenges designed for players of all skill levels, with gameplay lasting approximately 75 minutes.
The expansion to Regina is a significant step for Activate, which now boasts 40 locations across North America. The company’s innovative approach combines physical activity with gaming, promoting a healthy lifestyle while providing engaging entertainment. Players use advanced RFID wristbands to track their progress, accumulate points, and win prizes as they advance through different levels.
