The All Things Are Possible (ATAP) Foundation is hosting a series of Black History Month awareness events throughout February, offering engaging programming designed to educate and inspire local youth in Burlington County.
Each Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m., the foundation will host events in Willingboro that progressively build on one another, providing dinner from local restaurants Smokin Rev and Lady Q's Gourmet Barbeque. The events will culminate in a Black History Month Gala on February 28 at The Boro Epicenter, where participants will showcase their learning through poetry recitations, portrait painting, and historical reenactments.
Founded in 2007 by Dr. Tiffani and Dr. Carlos Worthy, the organization serves over 500 children annually through comprehensive out-of-school-time programs. These programs include before-and-after school care, full-day seasonal programs, STEAM workshops, and cultural enrichment activities for students from kindergarten through high school.
The foundation's mission extends beyond immediate educational support, focusing on helping students discover their potential and broaden their experiences. Dr. Tiffani Worthy emphasized that their work impacts not just individual students, but their families and future generations by increasing academic skills, self-confidence, and self-esteem.
Through these Black History Month events, ATAP Foundation continues its commitment to empowering youth and strengthening community connections by providing intentional learning and developmental opportunities.
