Alsco Uniforms has announced its acquisition of MacIntosh Services, a move that will expand the company's operational reach in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey regions. The strategic purchase includes MacIntosh's Bethlehem location and fleet, which will be rebranded under the Alsco Uniforms name in the coming months.
The acquisition aligns with Alsco's aggressive growth strategy, building on its recent purchase of Churchill Linen. By integrating MacIntosh Services, Alsco will enhance its service capabilities in industrial, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. The company now operates over 80 mixed-processing facilities across North America.
CEO Bob Steiner emphasized the significance of maintaining MacIntosh's community relationships and service standards. James Rodgers, Jr., president of MacIntosh Services, expressed confidence that the acquisition will strengthen existing customer relationships.
This expansion is part of Alsco's broader plan to invest in sales and service teams throughout North America. The company, which has been in operation for 135 years, continues to demonstrate its commitment to growth and service excellence in the uniform and linen industry.
