AmeriWell Clinics Appoints Dr. Erin Saunders as New Medical Director for Baltimore and Clinton Locations

AmeriWell Clinics has appointed Dr. Erin Saunders, DNP, FNP-C, as the new Medical Director for its Baltimore and Clinton, Maryland locations. Dr. Saunders brings extensive critical care experience and a patient-centered approach to her leadership role, which involves overseeing clinical operations at both facilities while continuing to provide direct patient care.

Dr. Saunders earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Maryland in 2025 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University in 2018. With seven years of experience in high-acuity hospital environments, including surgical units, intensive care units, and pediatric ICUs, she has developed a reputation for handling complex medical situations with confidence and compassion.

In her new position, Dr. Saunders will provide leadership and supervision to medical teams at AmeriWell's Baltimore clinic located at 3424 Annapolis Rd. and the Clinton clinic at 9135 Piscataway Rd., Suite 105.
