Industry experts praised the museum's unprecedented collection, with Dale Kelley, publisher of Antique Toy World magazine, declaring it potentially the largest antique toy museum globally.
The museum's 150,000 sq. ft. facility showcases more than 3,000 vintage toys, over 200 classic and exotic cars, and an extensive gallery of coin-operated machines. Founded by passionate collector Ron Sturgeon, who began acquiring toys in 1985, the museum offers visitors a nostalgic journey through toy history.
Jeanne Bertoia of Bertoia Auctions emphasized the museum's significance, calling it an "incredible gift to the community and to the preservation of toy history." Sturgeon himself noted the museum's emotional appeal, highlighting how visitors often reconnect with memories through vintage toys.
The museum offers free admission and welcomes families and their dogs, providing an accessible and engaging experience for collectors and casual visitors alike. Open Tuesday through Saturday, the facility represents a significant cultural preservation effort in the realm of vintage collectibles and automotive history.
