Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. Initiates Summer Field Program at Epworth Project

Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. (TSX.V: BAY) (OTCQB: ATBHF) has launched its summer field program at the Epworth sediment-hosted copper-silver-zinc-cobalt project, located 80 km southeast of Kugluktuk, Nunavut. This initiative marks a significant step in the exploration of high-grade copper and other critical metals, which are essential for the global transition to green energy and technology.

The program will concentrate on the southern portion of the property, where a 2024 Mobile MagnetoTelluric survey identified deep conductors up to 900 m below the surface and near-surface anomalies. These anomalies are interpreted as potential traps for metal-bearing fluids within the Recluse Group shales. Additionally, exploration efforts will target the dolomites of the Lower Rocknest Formation and clastic rocks of the Upper Odjick Formation, both known for their potential to host sediment-hosted copper mineralization.

Initial mapping and prospecting have already uncovered multiple copper zones associated with the MT anomalies. The company plans to conduct further work over several high-priority areas in the coming weeks, aiming to delineate the extent and grade of mineralization. This exploration is crucial for understanding the project's potential to contribute to the supply of critical metals needed for various industries, including renewable energy and electric vehicles.
