Babaians Law Firm is inviting undergraduate and graduate students across all fields of study to apply for its newly introduced 'Creating Your Future' Scholarship. This initiative offers a $2,500 award to a student who can produce a compelling video describing their future aspirations.
The firm requests that applicants create a one to two-minute video that delves into their academic and career goals. Students are encouraged to thoughtfully consider questions such as: What degree are you pursuing and why? How do you plan to use your degree to benefit your community? What does your ideal academic journey look like? What obstacles do you anticipate in your collegiate career? What is your unique approach to achieving your dreams?
Babaians Law Firm aims to celebrate a student who has already taken significant steps toward securing their dream future. The firm urges students to use their video essays to creatively elaborate on how they intend to bring a unique perspective to both collegiate and professional environments.
Participants are permitted to use a variety of editing tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, to complete their video essays. However, the scholarship selection committee will prioritize the content of the essays over their production quality. As such, students are strongly encouraged to script their essays before recording. Although AI tools may be used for creating B-roll, using AI to replace voices, create fake actors, or develop scripts will result in disqualification.
Students must submit their completed video essays by November 1, 2024, to be considered for the scholarship. Babaians Law Firm is eager to see the creative submissions and looks forward to awarding the scholarship to a deserving student.
