The Super Crowd, Inc., a public benefit corporation, announced the winners of its quarterly Superpowers for Good Live Pitch event, a televised and livestreamed showcase connecting impact-driven founders with investors. BabyQuip, a company making travel easier for families, received the Judges' Choice Award, selected by a panel of professional investors. CureValue, focused on healthcare affordability, received the SuperCrowd Award, determined by a live audience vote.
The Judges' Choice Award was determined by investor-judges Sherwood "Woodie" Neiss of Crowdfund Capital Advisors, Paul Lovejoy of Stakeholder Enterprise, and Teddy Lyons of KingsCrowd. They evaluated companies based on pitch quality, business fundamentals, traction, and credibility of scaling impact alongside financial performance. Fran Maier, Founder & CEO of BabyQuip, stated the recognition from seasoned investors was meaningful and highlighted the company's mission to make travel easier for families everywhere.
The SuperCrowd Award was chosen by the viewing audience through a real-time vote following interactive Q&A. Farooq Zama, Founder & CEO of CureValue, said winning signals that healthcare affordability is a lived reality for millions of Americans, not just an abstract policy issue, and reinforces the need for solutions addressing cost, access, and trust. The event, hosted by Devin Thorpe, featured vetted companies selected through a competitive review process without application fees.
In addition to the winners, two other companies delivered standout pitches. Jetoptera, led by Andrei Evulet, presented its approach to next-generation aviation propulsion and aircraft development. Pump For Joy, led by Erin Martin, showcased its mission to improve the pumping experience for nursing mothers with sustainable product innovation. Thorpe noted that all four companies earned their place through vetting and brought strong ideas and leadership worthy of investor attention.
Following the public livestream, Superpowers for Good hosted a private investor Zoom session—not recorded and limited to human participants—where dozens of investors met directly with founders for deeper Q&A. This reflects growing interest in transparent, founder-led conversations beyond public programming. The Super Crowd, Inc. advances impact crowdfunding and empowers diverse founders to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. Learn more about their work at https://TheSuperCrowd.com.
The awards highlight the increasing convergence of financial performance and social impact, as investors and the public validate business models addressing real-world challenges in family logistics and healthcare. For everyday investors, such events provide access to vetted opportunities in impact sectors, while for industries, they signal market readiness for solutions that blend profit with purpose. The private follow-up session underscores a trend toward more substantive, confidential engagement between founders and capital sources, potentially shaping investment flows into socially conscious enterprises.
