The City of Boerne has announced a full calendar of automotive events for 2026 that showcases the community's vibrant car culture while supporting local charities and businesses. The schedule includes vintage car shows, European motor gatherings, and community block parties that blend automotive appreciation with Texas tradition and pride.
The 2026 event highlights begin with the Power of the Past vintage car, engine, and tractor show on March 7, celebrating 40 years of The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center. This event features live music, reenactors, food vendors, and awards for Top 30 Vehicles, Best in Show Car & Truck. Later in March, the seventh annual Italian Motor Gathering on March 28 will showcase Italian marques at Main Plaza, free for spectators.
April brings the Texas Corvette Association Open Car Show on April 18, marking its 33rd annual show on Main Street with nearly 500 Corvettes and classic vehicles, live music, food trucks, and a silent auction. Proceeds from this event benefit SJRC Texas, demonstrating how these automotive gatherings support local nonprofits. The Black Rifle Block Parties on April 18, July 4 and September 26, hosted by Black Rifle Coffee Company, further integrate car culture with community events featuring live music and food.
Fall events include the Hill Country Mile Rod Run hosted by Cibolo Creek Motor Club from October 2-4, open to all American cars, trucks and motorcycles from 1985 and older. October also features the South Texas All British Car Day on October 24 and the German Motor Gathering on October 31, which serves as the premier exhibition of German motoring in the Texas Hill Country, open to all German marques on two or four wheels.
These events represent more than just automotive displays according to Tori Bellos, Marketing Specialist at Visit Boerne. "Our events are more than just car shows, they're celebrations of community, history and Texas pride," Bellos said. "Whether you're a collector, a spectator, or just love being around cars, there's something for everyone." The events support local nonprofits, museums and family-owned small businesses along the Hill Country Mile, creating economic and social benefits beyond automotive appreciation.
Vehicle registration, schedules, and parking maps are available online. Many events are free for spectators and include live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. The full calendar of Boerne, Texas events, dates, and locations can be explored at: Boerne Calendar of Events in 2026. Bellos emphasized the broader significance of these gatherings, stating, "Boerne's car culture is about passion, preservation and pride. From vintage American automobiles to exotic international motors, it's a celebration of automotive history and Texas heritage."
