Brandon Herrera Named Texas State Chair for U.S. Term Limits

U.S. Term Limits has announced Brandon Herrera as the new Texas State Chair. Herrera, an entrepreneur and Second Amendment activist, is well-known for his strong advocacy for term limits at the federal level. In his new role, Herrera aims to champion a resolution in Texas that supports the implementation of congressional term limits.

"I am honored to serve as the Texas State Chair for U.S. Term Limits," said Herrera. "Now more than ever before, the need for term limits is crystal clear. Polls show that one issue that unites all Texans regardless of political affiliation is the need for congressional term limits."

Herrera emphasized that term limits could transform Congress from a lifelong entitlement into a true public service. "Term limits will help improve accountability, diversify Congress, and make government work better for all Americans," he stated.

Philip Blumel, President of U.S. Term Limits, expressed confidence in Herrera's leadership. "We are honored to have Brandon leading our efforts in Texas to pass term limits for Congress," Blumel said. "Under his guidance, I am confident we will get our term limits resolution passed in Texas."

Brandon Herrera is not new to public service; he was a Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in House District 23 in Texas. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Herrera has deep Texan roots with both parents hailing from military families. He attended Campbell University with a focus on Pre-Law before shifting his focus to starting a small business in firearm manufacturing.

Herrera has built a substantial social media presence, amassing over half a billion views by promoting firearm safety and Second Amendment advocacy. His frustration over government overreach during the COVID lockdowns of 2020 prompted him to move his businesses and employees to Texas permanently.

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Herrera collaborates with numerous pro-freedom groups, including the National Association for Gun Rights, the Firearm Policy Coalition, Gun Owners of America, and Young Americans for Liberty. He is a staunch constitutionalist who believes that limiting federal power and returning authority to the states is crucial for individual liberty.

U.S. Term Limits, the largest grassroots term limits advocacy group in the country, aims to pass term limits at all levels of government, particularly focusing on the U.S. Congress. Herrera's appointment as Texas State Chair signifies a strategic move to further this mission.
