At CEDIA Expo 2026 in Denver, BZBGEAR introduced REEVE, a new control system designed to unify home automation into a single interface. The company also showcased its full residential lineup, including AV-over-IP, wireless HDMI, switchers, and KVM solutions, all aimed at simplifying installations and reducing costs for custom integrators.
REEVE is a tablet-based control system that eliminates the need for a rack-mounted controller or server PC. The tablet itself acts as the controller, reducing hardware costs and installation time. It organizes control by zones—such as living areas, private suites, and outdoor spaces—rather than by individual devices, allowing users to manage multiple systems with scenes that trigger predefined settings. The system operates locally on the tablet, ensuring functionality even without internet, while cloud connectivity is used for design, updates, and remote support.
According to Eugene Bocharov, CEO of BZBGEAR, "Control has always been the part of a residential system where good hardware goes to die—the interface is confusing, the programming is expensive, and the client stops using half of what they paid for. REEVE is our answer to that." The system is compatible with BZBGEAR's AV-over-IP products and third-party devices from major brands like Samsung, LG, Sony, and Apple TV, as well as climate, lighting, and security systems.
BZBGEAR also highlighted its XLink-ONE AV-over-IP family, which operates on standard gigabit networking, avoiding the need for expensive 10-gigabit infrastructure. The BG-IPGEAR-XTREME is a multicast transceiver with USB 3.1 for KVM, while the PRO model supports 48Gbps HDMI 2.1, 4K120, video wall and multiview modes, and transmission up to 170 meters. The XTREME-PRO won Best of Show at IBC 2025, and the XLink-ONE family took Best of Show at InfoComm 2026.
The AIR4KAST wireless HDMI line, recognized with multiple awards, includes models for various needs: the BG-AIR4KAST for basic 4K60 transmission, the MKX for one-to-many distribution, and the PRO for low-latency gaming and KVM. The PRO offers 16-48ms latency with 4K60 HDR, making it suitable for interactive applications.
For switching, BZBGEAR demonstrated a range from an affordable 4x2 matrix at $199 to the BG-4K-VP44, a 4x4 that functions as a matrix, video wall processor, and multiviewer. The company also introduced budget-friendly 8K switches and matrices, arguing that 8K readiness is about supporting 4K120 with full chroma, which requires 48Gbps bandwidth.
Recognizing the home office trend, BZBGEAR positioned KVM as an under-sold category, offering 2x1 and 4x1 KVM switches starting at $149, and extenders that transmit video, USB, and power over a single Cat cable.
