Charbone Delivers Electrolyzer to Sorel-Tracy Site, Paving Way for Increased Clean Hydrogen Production

Charbone Corporation (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47), a vertically integrated industrial gases company, announced the delivery of its electrolyzer to its flagship site in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. This arrival represents one of the most significant milestones in Phase 1B of the project, confirming tangible progress in the company's development plan to increase its clean ultra-high purity (UHP) hydrogen production capacity and meet growing demand from industrial customers.

The electrolyzer, designed to produce hydrogen through water electrolysis, is the technological core of the next phase of production at the site. With its delivery, Charbone's teams, construction contractors, and technical partners can now begin the positioning, installation, and integration of the equipment into the existing infrastructure. Civil engineering work and foundation preparation have been planned, and activities will proceed according to the execution schedule, including component assembly, mechanical and electrical connections, testing, and commissioning.

Dave Gagnon, President and CEO of Charbone, expressed pride in the milestone, stating, "It is with immense pride that we announce the arrival of our electrolyzer in Sorel-Tracy today. This is far more than the delivery of a piece of equipment, it represents the achievement of a pivotal step in realizing our vision and one of the most important milestones in the Company's history. The risks associated with delivery are now behind us." He also noted that the previously communicated timeline of a fall launch remains on track, and the company looks forward to providing updates as it advances through commissioning and ramp-up.

This development is part of Charbone's modular and phased strategy, which enables the company to add production capacity in line with demand while maintaining a disciplined approach. The company focuses on producing, storing, and distributing UHP strategic industrial gases, serving sectors such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence and data centers, advanced pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and defense technologies, where UHP gases are critical for high-precision manufacturing.

The delivery of the electrolyzer is a decisive step toward completion of Phase 1B and the deployment of increased clean UHP hydrogen production capacity. This milestone underscores Charbone's commitment to supporting the global transition to a lower-carbon economy by providing accessible, decentralized clean hydrogen and specialty gases. The company's modular, decentralized, and demand-driven approach, combined with its integrated storage and distribution platform, supports scalable growth and enables more stable revenue generation.
