Cherry SE, the international manufacturer of computer input devices, has permanently appointed Rogier Volmer as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2026. Volmer, who has served as interim CEO since January 1, 2026, will continue to lead the company's strategic transformation under the "Blossom" future program. The Supervisory Board's decision signals stability and continuity during a critical phase for the company.
Since taking office, Volmer has focused on operational implementation of the Blossom program, aiming to sustainably increase the Group's profitability and strengthen its position in the core business of peripherals and components. His permanent appointment ensures a seamless continuation of these initiatives. Marcel Stolk, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, stated: "Over the past few months as interim CEO, Rogier has proven, with his extensive international leadership experience and clear strategic vision, that he is the right person to lead CHERRY into its long-term future. He has stabilized the organization, brought focus and direction, and advanced the implementation of our transformation with discipline."
