Classiq Technologies has announced a collaboration with the BMW Group and NVIDIA to advance the use of quantum computing in optimizing mechatronic systems within the automotive sector. The latter uses amplitude and digital encoding to efficiently solve and convert complex linear equations through a novel Quantum Analog to Digital Conversion (QADC) process.
As a result of this collaboration, BMW Group's quantum experts have created one of the most sophisticated quantum programs to date. This program, featuring many quantum sub-routines, was made possible by the advanced modeling and compilation capabilities of the Classiq platform. NVIDIA's GPUs and the powerful CUDA-Q platform were essential in simulating this large and complex quantum circuit.
