Codale Electric Supply Marks 50 Years with Ambitious Regional Expansion Plan

Electrical distributor Codale Electric Supply is set to commemorate 50 years of business with an ambitious expansion strategy targeting the Intermountain West region. The company plans to invest significantly in infrastructure and geographic reach in 2025, signaling continued growth and commitment to its market.

The expansion includes constructing a 150,000-square-foot automated Customer Delivery Center in Las Vegas, which will feature streamlined order fulfillment processes. Additionally, Codale will open a Pro Logistics Center in Las Vegas, launch a Will Call branch in Saratoga Springs, Utah, relocate its Midvale branch to Draper, and establish a new branch in Idaho Falls.

Since its founding in 1975 by Dale and Jay R. Holt, Codale has transformed from a small five-person operation to a robust organization with 530 associates and 18 branches across four states. The company's growth trajectory reflects strategic investments in technology, including implementing an RF barcode system in 1995 and warehouse automation systems in 2021.

President Todd Saunders emphasized the company's commitment to innovation and customer service, noting that their success stems from dedicated associates, loyal customers, and strong support from parent company Sonepar. The expansion represents a continued commitment to serving electrical equipment needs across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.
