Competitive Power Ventures' (CPV) affiliate, CPV Renewable Power (CPV Renewables), has announced the commencement of construction for CPV Rogue’s Wind in Pennsylvania. The 114 MW wind project spans Cambria and Clearfield Counties and represents CPV’s third project transforming former coal mine land into renewable energy sources.
Upon its completion, CPV Rogue’s Wind will be CPV's third operational project in Cambria County, following the CPV Maple Hill Solar and CPV Fairview Energy Center. This initiative underscores CPV's dedication to a diverse and reliable low-carbon energy portfolio.

CPV Rogue’s Wind is the first project linked to CPV's recent partnership with Harrison Street, a leading investment management firm. This partnership, which saw Harrison Street acquire one-third of CPV Renewables, aims to accelerate the development of CPV's 4 GW renewable energy pipeline.
Carolyn Arida, Senior Managing Director at Harrison Street, highlighted the project as a milestone in their collaboration with CPV Renewables, reflecting their commitment to sustainable infrastructure.
The project will feature 19 Vestas V-162 wind turbines, generating enough electricity to power approximately 32,000 households and reducing CO2 emissions equivalent to removing 28,400 cars from the road annually.
