Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ships First Nexus 20 Prototype to Poland for H. Cegielski Partnership

Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. (CSE: CTTT) (OTC: CITLF) (FRA: X9V) announced on June 4, 2026, that it has dispatched the first Nexus 20 prototype unit to H. Cegielski – Poznan S.A. (HCP) in Poland, marking a key milestone in their executed Letter of Intent to establish a strategic partnership. The Nexus 20 is an autonomous, high-capacity mobile communications and security platform designed for rapid deployment in defence and critical infrastructure applications.

The LOI, originally signed earlier this year, outlines a roadmap for collaboration that includes production and assembly of Nexus 20 platforms in Poland, technology transfer, and strategic market expansion across Central and Eastern Europe. The prototype is expected to arrive at HCP’s Poznan facility in late July 2026 for technical evaluation, training, and proof-of-concept demonstrations with regional stakeholders.

Between May 20-24, CiTech CEO Brenton Scott visited HCP headquarters in Poznan to inspect factories and advance discussions on establishing a long-term partnership. HCP, a subsidiary of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. (PGZ), is a historic Polish industrial and defence manufacturing company founded in 1846. The partnership aims to combine CiTech’s Nexus 20 technology with HCP’s manufacturing, integration, and support capabilities to address requirements of the Polish Armed Forces and NATO’s Eastern Flank.

“This partnership represents a significant step forward in CiTech’s international expansion strategy and will complement the establishment of our EU Headquarters in Latvia,” said Brenton Scott. “By working alongside HCP and the PGZ Group, we are positioning the Nexus 20 platform to support allied defence capabilities across Central and Eastern Europe.”

The Nexus 20 provides autonomous telecommunications and surveillance infrastructure for modern defence and critical security operations. Under the intended cooperation, HCP would become a manufacturing and integration hub for Nexus 20 platforms in the CEE region, with technology transfer to ensure local maintenance, training, and support. The partnership also plans to leverage HCP’s position within PGZ and CiTech’s international partnerships to pursue government and defence contracts.

This development is important for regional security, as it aims to deliver a sovereign-capable solution for European strategic clients, enhancing NATO’s Eastern Flank capabilities. For readers, it signals growing investment in autonomous defence technologies in Europe and the expansion of Canadian and Australian defence tech firms into the region.

More information about the companies is available at HCP’s website and CiTech’s website.
