Debt.com's 2026 FinTalk Awards Spotlight Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator

Debt.com will soon announce the winner of the Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator category at the 2026 FinTalk Awards, an honor recognizing creators who use digital platforms to make financial education more accessible to the Hispanic community in the United States. The category celebrates the creator who, through educational, practical, and accessible content, has made an outstanding contribution over the past year to helping Hispanics better understand topics such as saving, investing, debt management, and financial planning. Public voting remains open through October 9, and participants may cast up to three votes per day to support their favorite creators.

The five nominees for Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator 2026 are María Mercedes Velasquez, Daniela Salazar, Alex / MoneyAcción, Elizabeth Inciarte, and Xavier Serbia. Velasquez is a certified public accountant with a master’s degree in finance who focuses on helping women over 40 take control of their money, invest, and work toward financial freedom. Salazar, known on social media as NeuroDany, is the author of two books about money and personal growth and provides education on investing, trading, and personal finance through digital platforms and workshops. Alex, creator of the financial education platform MoneyAcción, uses a simple and humorous approach to explain topics such as saving, investing, and debt management. Inciarte, a mother and content creator, aims to demonstrate that you don’t need to be a millionaire to start investing and building a stronger financial future. Serbia is a communicator with more than two decades of experience covering economic and financial topics, recognized for explaining complex concepts in a clear, practical, and accessible way for Hispanic audiences.

Debt.com created the FinTalk Awards to recognize creators and institutions that are transforming the way people learn about and manage their finances. The Spanish-language category focuses specifically on a community for which access to clear, relevant, and culturally accessible financial information can play an important role in making better financial decisions.

“For millions of Hispanics in the United States, having access to clear and trustworthy financial education in Spanish can make a real difference in how they manage their money and build their financial future. We are excited to see a new generation of creators using digital platforms to break down barriers, simplify complex topics, and empower our community to make better financial decisions,” said Don Silvestri, President of Debt.com.

The FinTalk Awards have previously recognized prominent Hispanic financial educators. Rey Martínez was named Best Hispanic Creator in 2025, while Juan Sánchez received the honor in 2024. Voting closes on October 9, 2026, when Debt.com will announce the winner of the category. Consumers can still learn more about the five nominees and cast their votes by visiting the official Spanish-language 2026 FinTalk Awards page.

This news matters because it highlights the growing importance of accessible financial education for the Hispanic community in the United States. With the rising influence of Hispanic consumers and entrepreneurs in the U.S. economy, providing clear and culturally relevant financial information in Spanish can help bridge gaps in financial literacy, enabling better decision-making regarding saving, investing, and debt management. The recognition of these creators not only celebrates their contributions but also encourages more content creators to produce educational material that can empower a significant and growing demographic. As Debt.com continues to support such initiatives, the impact is likely to extend beyond the awards, fostering a more financially savvy Hispanic community and potentially influencing broader financial education efforts across the country.
