Desert Sky Roofing Rebrands as DSR Roofing, Vows to Maintain Same Standards

Desert Sky Roofing, a veteran-owned roofing company that has served Tucson families for years, has officially rebranded as DSR Roofing. The name change was announced on June 13, 2026, but owner Bill Kimbley stresses that everything that matters about the company remains the same.

“We simplified the name to better reflect who we've become,” said Kimbley, who served more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force before starting the company with his son. “But the heart of it doesn't change. Tucson is home. These are our neighbors. A lot of the people we started out working for, we now call friends, and some of them feel like family.”

DSR Roofing exists to protect homeowners from unethical contractors by providing “legendary roofing experiences.” This standard, according to the company, is upheld through five core values: Results, Accountability, Integrity, Serving others, and Excellence. These values were built on the foundation Kimbley learned during his military service.

The company has completed more than 2,500 roofs across Southern Arizona and holds a BBB A+ rating, along with certifications from Tamko, TRC, and the Tile Roofing Industry Alliance. Services include tile, shingle, and flat roof repair and replacement, as well as roof coatings, skylight work, emergency repairs, and inspections.

Kimbley emphasized that the rebranding does not change the company's commitment to the community. DSR Roofing returns a share of its profits to local nonprofits, donated a roof through Military Makeover with Montel, and offers discounts to veterans, senior citizens, and first responders.

“I can go home at night and lay my head down and know that I did the very best I could for those who put their trust in me,” Kimbley said. “It is my personal mission to make sure that my company is the company that leads the way in helping everyone – my clients, my team, and even my family, know what a true contractor should look like. Our name has changed, but our mission hasn't.”
