Firefly World has unveiled plans for "Find Your Light," a visual album that promises to blend music, narrative, and visual art into a transformative experience. Written and produced by Rushan Jesani and starring Firefly (Farah Mitha), the album consists of 11 music videos, each functioning as a standalone short film while collectively narrating a journey through themes of identity, mental health, and self-discovery.
The project, described as a cinematic odyssey, features Firefly's genre-defying sound, which combines pop, soul, and experimental influences. Jesani's creative direction and screenwriting aim to bring each song to life with raw honesty and visual poetry, offering a cohesive storytelling experience rarely seen in visual albums.
Spanning two years, the production of "Find Your Light" will unfold in strategic phases to ensure artistic depth and technical excellence. The process includes development and scriptwriting, pre-production, production and post-production, final mastering and festival preparation, and distribution and release. A diverse lineup of visionary directors will helm individual videos, all unified under Jesani's narrative framework and Firefly's musical vision.
"Find Your Light" seeks to redefine the intersection of narrative cinema and music, merging urban realism with surreal dreamscapes to mirror the internal journeys at the heart of each song. This ambitious project aims to push the boundaries of what a visual album can be, particularly in the independent music and film space.
