Forever Network Enters ComScore Top 25 US Media Rankings

Forever Network, one of the fastest-growing and most engaged independent sports content brands globally, has announced its entry into the ComScore Top 25 US Media outlet rankings. Debuting at No. 24, Forever Network now stands shoulder-to-shoulder with media giants like Warner Bros, Walt Disney, and Comcast. The company has also secured its position as the eighth top sports media company, joining the ranks of the NBA, NFL, Barstool Sports, and WWE.

Alex Sumsky, CEO and co-founder of Forever Network, expressed his satisfaction with the ranking, noting, "Getting ranked so high by ComScore legitimizes the work we have put in since establishing a North American presence at the beginning of this year. We couldn’t be here without our devoted team and their commitment to user experience." Sumsky highlighted the company’s dedication to providing the best content for basketball, football, hockey, and baseball, positioning Forever Network as a major player in the US media market.

Since its inception, Forever Network has achieved impressive engagement metrics. Including its first vertical, Basketball Forever, the network has garnered 3.6 billion total impressions and 356 million engagements year-to-date across its sports social media channels. Football Forever has proven to be the most popular new vertical, amassing 528 million impressions since its launch in April. Dugout Forever and Hockey Forever have also shown significant traction with 198 million and 282 million impressions, respectively, since their launches earlier this year.

Nick Kelland, Chief Strategy Officer of Basketball Forever, commented on the network's rapid growth, stating, "The popularity we have achieved and growth we have experienced since the start of this year is just the tip of the iceberg." He revealed plans for a new soccer vertical set to debut in July, estimating that the network of channels will capture over eight billion impressions by the end of the year.

Earlier this year, Forever Network successfully closed a $4 million funding round to support its North American expansion and the development of new verticals. In addition to these expansions, the funding will also be used to develop Forever Network’s proprietary free-to-play and real-money games, V.O.A.T., Hot Hands, and Streaker, which are slated for launch later this year.

Founded in 2015, Basketball Forever has been pivotal in building the Forever Network brand. With a mission to celebrate the game and its unifying power, Basketball Forever has become a premier source of breaking news, commentary, rumors, and culture with a social-first approach. The brand boasts 3.9 billion impressions yearly and a monthly global reach of 105 million unique visitors, making it the top-ranked global sports company among millennials by engagement.
