Former Pastor Launches Spiritual Cannabis Brand, Redefines Religious Experience

Craig Gross, a former pastor known for controversial digital ministries, is reimagining spiritual transformation through a new cannabis-oriented initiative called Spiritual Plants. Partnering with cannabis industry veteran Guy Rocourt, Gross is introducing three cannabis brands targeting different religious communities: Christian Cannabis, Heaven's Hemp, and Mormon Meds.

The movement centers on a radical reinterpretation of spiritual awakening, with Gross declaring, "Jesus didn't resurrect. We are the resurrection." During a three-day Easter weekend event in Oakland, California, Gross and collaborator Kenny Holland will showcase their vision through music, storytelling, and cannabis consumption.

Spiritual Plants aims to disrupt traditional religious and corporate systems by offering cannabis products designed for spiritual exploration. The launch includes the debut of Resurrection Flower, a THC strain priced at $1, symbolizing accessibility and transformation.

The initiative extends beyond product sales, incorporating musical and cinematic elements. An upcoming album, LDS LSD, reimagines Mormon hymns, while a documentary called ChristSpiracy challenges conventional religious narratives about spirituality and social systems.

By positioning cannabis as a sacramental tool for consciousness expansion, Gross and Rocourt are challenging existing paradigms of religious experience and personal growth. Their approach suggests a new model of spiritual engagement that emphasizes individual awakening over institutional control.
