Future Stars Summer Camps Expands with New Selden Location and Program Enhancements

Future Stars Summer Camps, renowned for its diverse sports, specialty, and STEAM education programs, is expanding its footprint with the introduction of a new location in Selden, New York, for summer 2024. This expansion marks a significant milestone for Future Stars, which began as a tennis camp over four decades ago and has since evolved to offer over 40 unique programs tailored to meet the diverse interests and needs of campers.

The new Selden location will be hosted at Suffolk County Community College Ammerman Campus, previously an off-site venue for Future Stars' St. Joseph's location during on-campus construction. Due to overwhelming interest, the site is now a full-time location, providing a more convenient option for families in the area. Shane Flanagan will head the Selden camp, which boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including an air-conditioned field house gymnasium with two regulation basketball courts, volleyball courts, an auxiliary gymnasium, a dance studio, computer labs, an athletic sports medicine facility, and locker rooms.

Additionally, campers at the Selden location will have access to a 20-acre outdoor field complex featuring baseball, softball, soccer, and lacrosse fields, eight regulation tennis courts, a fitness trail, and an outdoor track. The campus also includes an air-conditioned theatre and cafeteria, a water park, and a game tent area for daily relaxation and play.

In addition to the new Selden location, Future Stars Old Westbury will return for the 2024 summer season, offering transportation from select zip codes. The St. Joseph's location will also see an expansion with the introduction of an all-new culinary camp for aspiring chefs, which is already nearing capacity for the year.
