Genesis of Schererville has opened a new nearly 25,000-square-foot showroom at 5800 W Lincoln Hwy, Schererville, IN 46375, establishing a dedicated retail facility for one of the automotive industry's fastest-growing luxury brands. The opening comes on the heels of J.D. Power ranking Genesis second in the industry for Initial Quality, behind only Porsche, a testament to the brand's rising stature.
“We wanted to create a dealership that truly reflects what Genesis has become,” said Kelly Webb Roberts, president of Genesis of Schererville. “This project has been years in the making, and it's the most premium facility our family has ever built in our more than 50 years of serving Northwest Indiana.”
The showroom embodies the Genesis philosophy of modern luxury, featuring expansive natural light, a dedicated interior Zen garden, and a hospitality-centered environment rooted in the Korean concept of son-nim—treating every visitor as an honored guest. This focus on customer experience extends to the service area, which includes 12 service bays staffed by Genesis-certified technicians. A glass wall separates the customer lounge from the shop floor, allowing owners to watch their vehicles being serviced. Four Level 3 DC fast chargers are available on the lot 24/7.
Genesis vehicles themselves are packed with premium features: available Nappa leather seating, premium audio systems, expansive OLED displays, panoramic glass roofs, fingerprint authentication, Remote Smart Parking Assist, massage-equipped driver's seats, and advanced driver-assistance technologies. But the ownership experience goes beyond the car. “The Genesis Experience” program includes complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles, and Genesis Service Valet, where Genesis of Schererville retrieves a customer's vehicle from their home or workplace, provides a Genesis loaner if needed, completes the required service, and returns the vehicle.

Warranty coverage spans five years or 60,000 miles for the new vehicle and 10 years or 100,000 miles for powertrain components—among the longest coverage terms in the luxury segment.

The new location replaces Genesis of Merrillville, consolidating all sales, service, and parts operations at the Schererville facility.
