Award-winning author Gina Iafrate has announced the release of her latest romantic fiction novel, Love And Betrayal, now available in print and ebook form at Amazon. The novel is the third installment in her Strong Women series, following The Professor's Daughter.
The story follows Gracy, who initially believes she has found eternal love with Alvaro. However, as married life unfolds, his vows of fidelity and devotion unravel, leading to catastrophic consequences fueled by greed, jealousy, and revenge. Gracy's emotional journey becomes a challenging survival, but later in life, with the intervention of caring people, she rediscovers love, peace, and support before her terrestrial journey ends.
The Professor's Daughter, set in Italy, is the sequel to Iafrate's first award-winning book, The English Professor. It follows Gracy Robertson, the love child of an intense affair, who is taken from her dying mother and left in the care of her devastated father. Living in hiding to avoid mobsters who took her mother's life, they eventually find peace, but the professor's life ends, leaving Gracy grief-stricken. Her destiny takes her across the ocean, where she finds love but faces threats that test her peace of mind, heart, and life.
Iafrate's Strong Women series features romantic fiction novels about characters who overcome staggering odds. Her books, described as sweeping family sagas, allow readers to travel the globe through intricate imagery and dramatic movements. Citing influences like Nicholas Sparks and John Grisham, Iafrate's storylines reveal the richness of human experience through finely drawn characters and exotic locales.
Other books in the series include The Girl From The Cornfield, set in 1950s Italy, where Giuliana Ferrante rises above a vicious attack through education and kindness; The English Professor, where an introverted professor embarks on a passionate affair in Sicily; and Bestowed By Love And Splendour, a story of a broken-hearted wife finding peace in Sardinia. Iafrate is also author of Releases From My Soul, a collection of poems and novellas drawn from her life experiences, and is currently working on her seventh novel, The Shoeless Boy.
Iafrate, who writes in both Italian and English, divides her time between Hollywood, Florida; Niagara, Ontario; and Europe. Her works have been exhibited at The Pier 21 Museum in Halifax, featured in Phoenix Magazine, The Horizon, and Author's Voice, and she is a 2016 Book Excellence Award Finalist.
