Golden Cariboo Resources Launches Autumn Drilling Campaign at Quesnelle Gold Property

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. has initiated its autumn surface drilling campaign at the company's flagship Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property, located approximately 4 kilometers northeast of Hixon, British Columbia. This exploration phase builds on previous successful programs and aims to significantly extend the gold-bearing Halo and Main zones' strike length from nearly 600 meters to 2 kilometers adjacent to the black argillite-greenstone contact.

The company simultaneously announced the addition of two accomplished Professional Geoscientists to its technical team. Cheryl Reid brings 20 years of mineral exploration experience across Canada, with specific expertise in VMS and Archean greenstone belt hosted orogenic gold projects. Her background includes drill supervision, core logging, quality assurance, database management and field mapping. Catherine Banfield contributes 20 years of international and domestic experience in polymetallic mineral exploration and mining projects, offering valuable insight into structural interpretation and geological modeling.

"We are thrilled to kick off our autumn drilling campaign and to welcome Cheryl and Catherine to our team," said J. Frank Callaghan, President & CEO of Golden Cariboo Resources. "Their combined experience and technical acumen will be invaluable as we continue to expand the gold bearing zones and define new targets."

The Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property represents a significant opportunity in British Columbia's historic gold mining region. The property includes the Quesnelle Quartz gold-silver deposit, originally discovered in 1865 and developed over approximately 150 by 150 meters at the Main zone straddling Hixon Creek. The geological setting shows strong similarities with the Spanish Mountain gold deposit, situated 120 kilometers southeast along the same geological trend.

This exploration activity occurs within a broader context of ongoing gold mining in the Cariboo region, where over 101 placer gold creeks along the 90-kilometer trend from the Cariboo Hudson mine north to the Quesnelle property have recorded production, with successful placer mining continuing to present day. The company's property is bordered by Osisko Development and partly intertwined with them at the north end of the Cariboo Gold Project, positioned along a favorable corridor adjacent to the Spanish and Eureka thrust faults over a 94,899 hectare area.

The Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property's geological characteristics as a sediment-hosted vein deposit place it within the epizonal orogenic subclass of gold deposits, which includes some of the world's largest deposits such as Muruntau in Uzbekistan and Bendigo in Australia.
