Gracchus Partners Launches The Growth Sequence, Replacing Three C-Suite Roles with One Leader

Gracchus Partners LLC, a Houston-based growth company, announced the completion of its pilot phase and the official launch of The Growth Sequence, an integrated system that aligns a company's market edge, marketing, sales, and operations in that order. The system is designed for founders, owners, and executive teams seeking exponential growth, defined as revenue growing faster than the cost of acquiring it.

The Growth Sequence replaces the common practice of buying growth in pieces—hiring an agency for marketing, a consultant for sales, and software for operations—none of which starts from what makes a business hard to copy. Instead, it follows a fixed order: Compelling Market Edge (CME), then Marketing, Sales, and Operations. The Compelling Market Edge identifies what makes a business hard to copy and what makes a buyer act now. Marketing encompasses product, price, place, and promotion built on that edge. Sales turns demand into closed revenue, and Operations delivers so the promise holds as volume grows without costs rising at the same rate.

"Most businesses can achieve growth. They get some by working harder or spending more," said Brandon Fears, founder and managing partner of Gracchus Partners. "Exponential growth requires a sequence. That means revenue growing faster than what you spend to get it, and it only happens when marketing, sales and operations all run off the same edge. Most businesses have never found theirs, and that's usually why the rest of the plan hasn't worked."

The same sequence is positioned to cut costs. One growth leader takes the place of three executive hires—the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Chief Commercial Officer—and the overlap between them. Promotion waits until the foundation is ready, so ad budgets stop draining before they can return anything. In operations, Fears separates a true cost increase from a positioning problem that only shows up as a cost problem. "Most owners think they have a cost problem," Fears said. "Often the costs didn't change much. The reason to choose them got less clear, and suddenly every line item hurts. Fix the reason, and you know exactly what to cut and what to keep."

Fears built the method across a 25-year career, including 23 years inside the Fortune 500. He joined Compaq in product marketing in 2001 and stayed through its acquisition by HP and HP's later split, which created Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Over 15 years there, his work included the ProLiant DL360 server line, a $2 billion portfolio. From 2016 to 2021 he was a Global Account Manager at Intel Corporation, where he carried a sales bag. He then led offering management as Senior Director in Honeywell's Performance Materials and Technologies organization, then an $11 billion business. That experience is why Gracchus Partners replaces three roles that most growing companies hire separately with one leader who owns the sequence from edge to revenue.

Results from the pilot phase span diverse industries: an independent visual artist sold three original works and now earns ongoing income through Instagram; a commercial cleaning franchise in San Antonio closed contracts for nine locations in its first 28 days, adding more than $60,000 in annual revenue; and an early stage SaaS company grew to 15,000 paying subscribers after repositioning. With the pilot complete, Gracchus Partners is opening a limited number of engagements to new clients in Houston, San Antonio, and Las Vegas, and with companies worldwide.

Business leaders can book a Sequence Snapshot, a 30-minute diagnostic call, through Gracchus Partners LLC. The fee is credited toward a full engagement. A future episode of The Building Texas Show will feature Brandon Fears as a guest.
