Grungo Law hosted its Second Annual Mini Golf Invitational on August 22, 2025, at North Beach Mini Golf in Atlantic City, gathering families, friends, and local creators for an event that underscores the firm's commitment to community building. The invitational, launched last summer, has rapidly become a tradition marking the end of the shore season, fostering friendly competition while spotlighting local businesses and talent.
Partnerships with the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Flyers brought alumni players Chris Therien and Riley Cote to the celebration, where they connected with fans and added a professional sports dimension to the community gathering. These collaborations also provided exclusive prizes for participants, with first-place winners receiving tickets to both a Phillies and Flyers game, second-place winners awarded a Lumi Max, and third-place winners getting a coffee machine paired with Grungo Law's Cherry Hill and Hammonton blend coffee grounds. The most coveted prize was the trophy for victory over Mike and PJ of @the.traveling.tastebuds in the mini golf challenge, symbolizing bragging rights until next year's tournament.
Local businesses were central to the event, with raffle prizes from community favorites such as Lakes Coffee, Mike's Seafood, Son of a Sailor, Louie G's, Hershey's Shake Shop Creamery, HomeGrown215, Kid Rip's Tap & Tavern, and Back Bay Seafood. Food reviews by Mike and PJ highlighted Cuzzie's Steaks, a newly opened Atlantic City establishment serving freshly made cheesesteaks, and Taylor Made Treats, a family-owned business from Egg Harbor City offering signature ice cream sandwiches, both of which became crowd favorites.
The presence of local content creators and media professionals, including Tyrone Johnson (@tyjohnsonnews), Toni Marmo (@toniimarmo), Juliana Gainsburg (@thelifeofjulsg), Rob Cella (@bardownmediaofficial), and Brittany DiMatteo (@bdimatteo.photography), helped capture and share event highlights, amplifying community engagement. Richard Grungo, Esq., founder of Grungo Law, emphasized the importance of such events in supporting local businesses, celebrating talent, and creating lasting memories, reinforcing the firm's role in fostering regional cohesion and tradition.
