H2APEX Group SCA has raised its revenue forecast for the full year 2025 to between €9 million and €10 million, up from the previously projected €6 million to €8 million. The increased forecast reflects initial positive effects from the company's adjusted strategy focused on expanding its own hydrogen production capacities and providing services to external customers.
The company attributed the unexpected revenue increase primarily to its joint IPCEI-funded project with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners in Lubmin, for which H2APEX has provided initial project development services. This project represents a significant milestone in the company's expansion strategy and has contributed to the improved financial outlook earlier than anticipated.
Peter RoBner, CEO of H2APEX, stated that the increased revenue forecast confirms the company made the right strategic decision to focus on expanding hydrogen production capacities. He noted substantial progress during the first nine months of 2025 and emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. The company also plans to further expand its activities in energy and asset management, storage and transport solutions development, and operations and maintenance services.
Beyond the Lubmin project, which is expected to have 100 MW capacity in its first expansion stage, H2APEX plans to implement hydrogen projects with smaller production capacities. These decentralized, small-volume plants are designed to meet existing strong hydrogen demand without requiring pipeline connections. The company expects these initiatives to provide timely solutions to market needs while building toward its long-term objectives.
In the medium to long term, H2APEX anticipates generating the majority of its revenue from operating its own plants, aiming to ensure greater revenue stability, predictable cash flow, and improved scalability. This approach is intended to create a solid foundation for sustainable long-term growth in the emerging green hydrogen sector.
Additional revenue potential exists through providing services to external customers and joint ventures, including operation and maintenance of hydrogen plants and project development. The company continues developing its own hydrogen storage solutions to enable efficient transport of this critical raw material for decarbonization efforts.
