Hill Country Venture Fest Secures Full Gold-Tier Sponsor Slate for October Pitch Night

The Hill Country Venture Fest has announced Frontera Healthcare Network as its fourth Gold-tier sponsor, completing its slate of top-tier backers for the October 1, 2026 student pitch night at the Odeon Theater in Mason. Frontera joins Hill Country Telephone Cooperative (HCTC), Central Texas Electric Cooperative (CTEC), and Texas Regional Bank in supporting the event at the $1,000 sponsorship level.

This year's Gold-tier sponsors represent essential services that shape rural life: healthcare, telecommunications, electricity, and banking. The inclusion of Frontera Healthcare Network brings a regional healthcare presence to the sponsor wall, while the other three sponsors are already woven into the fabric of local communities, serving homes, schools, farms, ranches, and small businesses across the Hill Country.

The festival, named the 2025 Texas Venture Fest of the Year by the Texas Venture Alliance, is a free one-evening event where rural students pitch real business ideas to a panel of judges. Gold-tier sponsors play a crucial role in keeping the event accessible, ensuring no student or family faces a financial barrier to participation.

The diverse sponsor mix is intentional. The festival is designed not merely as a competition but as a public demonstration that student entrepreneurship is valued by established local institutions. By bringing together lenders, cooperatives, service providers, and now a healthcare network, the event signals that the region's economic pillars are invested in nurturing the next generation of innovators.

“When a bank, a co-op, a telephone company, and now a healthcare group all say yes to the same room of kids, that tells you something about what this community values,” said Katie Milton Jordan, a key figure in organizing the festival.

The sponsors' backing helps cover the costs of the event, allowing it to remain free for attendees and contestants. It also provides students with a real platform to present their ideas before community leaders and potential future employers, fostering connections that could translate into mentorship, funding, or career opportunities.

The festival's organizers emphasize that more sponsors are welcome at various levels, from Community Partner at $250 up to Presenting at $2,000. Interested parties can find details at hillcountryventurefest.com.

The October 1 event is expected to draw students from across the rural Hill Country, offering them a unique chance to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit. With the full slate of Gold-tier sponsors now in place, the festival is poised to deliver an impactful evening that underscores the region's commitment to fostering local talent and economic vitality.
