House of Collaboration 2027 to Convene Leaders from Over 70 Countries in Davos Under 'Antifragile Alliances' Theme

J3D.AI Labs has announced the theme for House of Collaboration 2027: "Antifragile Alliances and Responsible Technology Development in a Multi-Polar World." The five-day program will run from Sunday 17 to Thursday 21 January 2027 at Hotel Cresta Sun in Davos, Switzerland, convening leaders from government, business, capital, and research during the annual gathering of global leaders.

The announcement matters because it signals a deliberate effort to counteract the fragmentation of global affairs. According to the organization, trade, technology, and security are increasingly splitting along competing blocs, and each new shock pushes partners further apart. House of Collaboration 2027 asks how leaders can build alliances that become stronger because of such shocks—partnerships that learn from stress, spread risk across many actors, and keep working when one part fails.

The concept of antifragility, coined by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, describes systems that gain from stress. An antifragile alliance, in this framing, is not formed against others but across divides, and it grows stronger under pressure. "Division is now the default setting of global affairs," said Yip Thy Diep Ta, Co-Founder and CEO of J3D.AI. "In a multi-polar world, collaboration is no longer a courtesy. It is a strategic asset. We do not ask our delegates to agree on everything. We ask them to sit at one table, name their tensions honestly. An antifragile alliance is not one without conflict or disagreement. It is one that gets wiser every time it is tested."

The 2026 edition welcomed more than 850 delegates from over 70 countries, with more than 120 speakers and 25 partners. Speakers included ministers from the New Nordics (NB8) countries and leaders from UNESCO, Invest India, NVIDIA, Cerebras, SAP, and S&P Global. House of Collaboration 2027 will again host a delegation from India and expand the New Nordics track, building on that foundation.

The 2027 program is structured as five named summits: Cybernetic Foresight Roundtables on Sunday, Human Flourishing Summit on Monday, New Nordics Innovation Summit on Tuesday, Bridges to Europe Summit on Wednesday, and Capital & Wealth Summit on Thursday, closing with the Gathering of Decacorns, Unicorns and Soonicorns. Sessions will examine how frontier technologies such as AI, quantum computing, space, and cyber security can be developed responsibly when no single power sets the rules. Topics include sovereign and resilient infrastructure, the energy demand of the next generation of data centers, and how public and private actors can share standards without sharing every interest. The community is large, but the rooms are deliberately small: each session is built for decision density rather than audience size, ensuring every conversation includes the people who can act on it.

A highlight of the week is the Gathering of Decacorns, Unicorns and Soonicorns on Thursday 21 January. Designed for founders of high-growth companies—from those on track to a USD 1 billion valuation (soonicorns) to those valued above USD 1 billion (unicorns) and USD 10 billion (decacorns)—and for the investors, capital allocators, and policymakers who shape where growth capital goes next, the gathering aims to put the builders of the next decade in the same room as the people who fund and regulate them, at the moment when frontier technology decides who leads.

"Responsible technology cannot be built by one country, one company or one bloc," said Kevin Varend, Co-Founder and Managing Director of J3D.AI. "The builders, the regulators and the capital have to be in the same room early, not after the damage is done. House of Collaboration gives them a neutral place to do that, and a community that keeps them connected for the rest of the year."

The implications extend beyond the week in Davos. By creating a recurring platform for decision-makers across sectors and regions, House of Collaboration aims to turn connections into work that continues after the summit ends. In a world where collaboration is increasingly treated as a strategic asset, the success of such alliances could shape how technologies are governed and how growth capital flows in the coming decade.
