The Hispanic Public Relations Association has announced the finalists for the 2024 ¡BRAVO! Awards. This milestone event underscores the growing importance of multicultural PR and the significant contributions of brands and agencies in advancing Latino narratives in the U.S.

The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) has announced the finalists for the 2024 ¡BRAVO! Awards, the premier accolade in multicultural PR and communications. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the winners will be revealed at HPRA's annual fundraising gala on October 10, 2024, at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, hosted by journalists Jeannette Reyes and Robert Burton. The 2024 ¡BRAVO! Awards are presented by Aflac.

HPRA National President Sonia V. Diaz highlighted the milestone, stating, “As we celebrate the finalists for the 2024 ¡BRAVO! Awards, we reflect on a decade of remarkable growth in our program, which mirrors the broader evolution of multicultural marketing in our industry.”

This year’s program was the most competitive to date, with over 50 campaigns submitted and ten new organizations making the shortlist. The awards uniquely focus on exceptional work in multicultural communications that advance positive narratives about Latinos in the U.S.

In addition to campaign awards, the ¡BRAVO! Awards honor individuals who have made significant contributions to multicultural communities. This year's honorees include:

  • Pioneer of the Year Award: Pedro A. Guerrero
  • Journalist of the Year: León Krauze
  • DEI Champion: Monica Bauer

The awards were judged by a panel of 19 independent professionals from various fields within communications, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive review process.
