The findings reveal a concerning gap, with only 30% of HR professionals rating their ability to meet workers' strategic needs highly, underscoring a critical deficiency in the HR function.
In contrast, 43% of respondents gave high ratings to their ability to meet the needs of their organizations' executives, suggesting a concerning misalignment between HR professionals' focus and the needs of the broader workforce.

While 93% of respondents consider strategic thinking essential or important, only 54% believe HR is proficient or highly proficient in this area. Similarly, despite 64% viewing the use of data and analytics as essential or important, a mere 32% rate HR as proficient or highly proficient in this regard.
