HWPL Marks 10 Years of Global Peace Initiatives with Worldwide Summit

Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), an international NGO affiliated with UN ECOSOC, is commemorating its 10th Anniversary World Peace Summit from September 18, 2024. The event, themed 'Creating World Peace Community through Regional Collaboration', spans 122 countries and aims to review a decade of peace achievements while outlining future strategies.

HWPL's growth over the past decade is substantial, boasting 500,000 members across 170 countries and partnerships with 1,014 organizations in 105 countries. This extensive network underscores the organization's global influence in peace-building efforts. The summit's focus on regional collaboration highlights HWPL's strategy to address local peace challenges through tailored approaches and strengthened networks.

Significant partnerships have been formed with the Group of 7+ (G7+) and The Latin American Parliament (Parlatino), indicating HWPL's engagement with high-level political entities. The summit also showcases concrete peace projects, such as the introduction of peace education in Timor-Leste's higher education system. The launch of the 'Together: Connecting Korea' campaign in South Korea, involving 230 civil society organizations, illustrates HWPL's efforts to promote social harmony at national levels.
