hyperCORE International, a strategic scaling platform that helps clinical research sites and organizations grow through the power of partnership, announced the election of its officers on October 15, 2026. Jeffrey Smyth has been elected President, Seneca Harrison as Vice President, and Claxton Copeland as Secretary, while Dustin Owen will continue serving as Treasurer. The appointments support hyperCORE's refreshed focus on serving two audiences through one platform: clinical research site networks and contract research organizations (CROs).
For clinical research site networks, hyperCORE accelerates growth while preserving independence. For CROs, it provides one strategic connection to a growing network of experienced, high-performing research sites. Together, the officers bring complementary expertise and strategic leadership to guide hyperCORE's continued evolution, strengthen its partnerships, and support sustainable growth across the organization.
Newly elected President Jeffrey Smyth shared, "I am grateful to my fellow partners for their confidence in electing me President of hyperCORE International. The camaraderie across our network is what makes this group special, and it positions us well for continued growth. I step into this role with excitement as we scale our collective impact for CROs and patients."
Nicholas Focil, former President, added, "At hyperCORE, our purpose is simple. We help our partners scale. That means giving exceptional site networks the support to grow on their own terms, and giving CROs one trusted connection to the sites and patients their studies need. Strong leadership is essential to that mission, and we're pleased to welcome the new executive team."
hyperCORE gives established site networks the relationships and resources to reach their growth goals faster. Through shared expertise, business development, operational collaboration, and strategic partnerships, hyperCORE helps partner sites expand their reach, strengthen sponsor and CRO relationships, and build sustainable organizations that make a greater impact in clinical research. Its current class of partner site networks includes Empathx Clinical Research, FOMAT Medical Research, Optimal Research Sites, QCR Network, and TrueBlue Clinical Research. Alumni include Lynd Clinical (formerly ARC), Avacare (formerly Benchmark Clinical Research), Flourish Research (formerly CSP & CTT), Centricity Research (formerly IACT Health, LMC Manna, Aventiv, and Lucas Research), and, most recently, Alcanza Clinical Research.
For CROs, hyperCORE streamlines site access through a single point of contact. With one trusted relationship, CROs gain rapid feasibility with 48 to 72 hour turnaround, broader geographic reach across the United States, and expanded patient access. The network brings together more than 50 sites, 120+ principal investigators, and experience across more than 25 therapeutic areas and multiple trial phases, with access to more than 3.4 million patients. The election of these officers signals continuity and a renewed commitment to scaling partnerships in the clinical research industry. As the demand for efficient trial execution grows, hyperCORE's model offers a way for site networks to maintain independence while accessing the resources they need to expand, and for CROs to connect with a broad, experienced network through a single relationship. This could lead to faster study start-up, broader patient access, and more sustainable growth for all partners involved.
