Kami Alaniz, a Registered Nurse with more than 33 years of experience, has officially brought her full vision for Just Brooke, LLC to life, transforming what began as a ministry announcement in 2025 into a multifaceted company that now spans publishing, media, coaching and faith-based initiatives. The expansion marks a significant milestone for Alaniz, who spent years balancing a career as a traveling nurse with the demands of building her enterprise.
Just Brooke now encompasses Helping People Like Me Ministry — A Just Brooke Kingdom Initiative, the faith-centered mission behind the company, and Just Brooke Productions, its publishing and production brand. Alaniz's books are being published and sold on Amazon, with additional titles in development. Her expanded website, www.JustBrooke.net, consolidates her books, coaching, courses, classes, ministry and media into a single platform.
The growth matters for professionals and patients navigating an increasingly complex healthcare system. Alaniz's newest media venture, APPROVED or DENIED: Decoding Medicare, Medicaid, & Beyond — For Professionals, Patients & Providers, is a weekly podcast airing Thursdays at 7:00 a.m. Central that draws on her more than three decades in nursing to explore the financial, emotional and practical challenges surrounding healthcare decisions. Each episode includes a Book of the Week, connecting her published work with the topics discussed.
Alaniz has also launched Across the Table with Kami, a short-form video series covering healthcare, her books, faith and other issues she encounters through her work. The growing media presence is opening another direction she wants to pursue more actively: speaking engagements with healthcare professionals, churches, conferences and community organizations on topics such as burnout, forgiveness, faith and purpose.
Central to much of the work is Alaniz's R3B Empowerment Method™: Remove Blocks, Reset, Rediscover Yourself, and Build Your Dream Life. Alaniz continued working as a traveling nurse while building Just Brooke, an experience that has kept her close to the patients, families and healthcare professionals she hopes to reach. She regularly encounters people facing issues that extend far beyond what appears on a medical chart, including financial concerns, caregiver exhaustion and uncertainty about what happens next.
"When I look back at where I was when I started and compare it with where we are today, it is pretty incredible," Alaniz says. "Back then, I was telling you what I hoped Just Brooke could become. Today, I can show you."
