With a career spanning more than nine years, Burks began her journey by teaching herself to braid and style locs. She later honed her skills under the mentorship of an experienced stylist. After graduating from Green B. Trimble Technical High School in Fort Worth, she became a professional loctician and has continued to refine her craft in various salons over the years.
Kash.Stylez offers a range of hair services, including cuts, braids, locs, silk press, wigs, sew-in, and quick weaves. The salon's operating hours are from 1-7 p.m. on Mondays, 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Fridays, and 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Appointments are preferred and can be made through Burks' Styleseat page. Walk-ins are also welcomed based on availability.
