LaFleur Minerals Appoints VP Exploration and VP Mining Operations to Advance Swanson Gold Project and Beacon Mill Restart

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) (FSE: 3WK0) announced the appointments of Marc Ducharme as Vice President of Exploration and Mike Petrina as Vice President Mining Operations, bolstering its technical and operational leadership as the company advances the Swanson Gold Project and prepares for a near-term restart of its Beacon Gold Mill in Québec’s Abitibi Gold Belt.

According to the company, these appointments bring decades of experience in discovery, development and mine operations. Ducharme previously led exploration at Probe Gold prior to its $770 million acquisition by Fresnillo, while Petrina contributed to advancing the Novador project. The new leadership is expected to enhance LaFleur’s ability to execute its mine-to-mill strategy, accelerate exploration and transition toward gold production.

The Swanson Gold Project, located near Val-d’Or, Québec, encompasses approximately 19,214 hectares along a major structural break hosting the Swanson, Bartec and Jolin gold deposits. The project is accessible by road, allowing direct access to several nearby gold mills, including the company’s recently refurbished Beacon Gold Mill, which is capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day. The mill is being considered for processing mineralized material from Swanson and for custom milling operations for other nearby gold projects.

LaFleur recently released positive results from a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Swanson Gold Project and the planned restart of the Beacon Gold Mill (refer to press release dated March 3, 2026). The PEA outlines the project’s potential to deliver long-term value.

The appointments come as LaFleur consolidates a large land package that includes prospects rich in gold and critical metals previously held by Monarch Mining, Abcourt Mines and Globex Mining. The company’s mission is to advance mining projects with a focus on the PEA-stage Swanson Gold Project and the Beacon Gold Mill.
