LaFleur Minerals Secures Gold and Silver Purchase Agreement with Ocean Partners, Including Up to $5 Million Financing

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) (FSE: 3WK0) announced a definitive gold and silver purchase agreement with Ocean Partners UK Limited covering 100% of the precious metals produced from a planned bulk sample at its Swanson Gold Project. The material will be processed at the company’s wholly owned Beacon Gold Mill in Val-d’Or, Quebec. The agreement includes an option for an unsecured working capital advance of up to US$5 million, available beginning Jan. 1, 2027, to support mining and processing activities. The advance carries interest at three-month CME SOFR plus 7.50% and is repayable through deductions from gold and silver deliveries, with no prepayment penalties, arrangement fees, equity or warrants.

This deal is significant for LaFleur Minerals as it provides non-dilutive funding to advance its Swanson Gold Project, which is located in the Abitibi Gold Belt, one of the world’s most prolific gold-producing regions. The agreement supports the company’s mine-to-mill development strategy, which aims to integrate mining and processing to capture more value. LaFleur Minerals is also conducting environmental and geotechnical studies to support required permits, moving closer to production.

The financing option, available from 2027, gives LaFleur flexibility to fund mining and processing without issuing equity or warrants, which is favorable for existing shareholders. The agreement replaces a previously announced nonbinding term sheet with Trafigura Canada Limited, indicating a more definitive path forward. The Swanson Gold Project spans approximately 20,642 hectares and includes several gold and critical metal prospects previously held by Monarch Mining, Abcourt Mines, and Globex Mining. The recently refurbished Beacon Gold Mill is capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day and is being considered for processing mineralized material from Swanson and for custom milling operations for other nearby gold projects.

For investors, the agreement with Ocean Partners, a global trading company, validates the project’s potential and provides a clear route to cash flow. The financing terms, with no prepayment penalties or fees, are relatively attractive. The news is also positive for the local economy in Val-d’Or, as the project could create jobs and support the regional mining sector. The Abitibi Greenstone Belt hosts several operating mines and advanced projects, including Agnico Eagle’s Canadian Malartic, Goldex and LaRonde mines, Eldorado Gold’s Lamaque Complex, and others, underscoring the area’s prospectivity. However, mineralization at these properties is not necessarily indicative of mineralization at the Swanson Gold Project.

LaFleur Minerals recently released positive Preliminary Economic Assessment results for the Swanson Gold Project and the planned restart of the Beacon Gold Mill, which can be reviewed in the press release dated March 3, 2026. The company is focused on developing district-scale gold projects in the Abitibi Gold Belt near Val-d’Or, Quebec. For more information, visit the full press release at https://ibn.fm/m8kAT.
