LataMed AI Corp. (OTC: LMED), a healthcare technology company focused on digital health and artificial intelligence solutions for Latin America, announced on July 31, 2026, that its Venezuelan subsidiary, LATAMEDAI VE, has entered into an agreement with the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC) to develop a digital platform module designed to support access to laboratory and scientific services.
Under the agreement, LataMed AI and IVIC will collaborate on the design, development, testing, and implementation of a digital interface that will allow authorized business and institutional users to request available laboratory services, schedule appointments, monitor request statuses, access approved reports and documentation, and complete payment-related processes. The module aims to provide a centralized digital workflow for organizations in sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food production, agriculture, and related industries. The specific services offered through the platform will be determined by IVIC and implemented according to technical, operational, security, and legal requirements established by both parties.
LataMed AI will commence work with IVIC to define the module's functional requirements, user-access procedures, data architecture, payment workflows, document-management capabilities, and a phased testing and implementation process. The parties will also establish protocols for handling, transmitting, storing, and accessing laboratory-related information securely.
The contemplated platform functionality may include electronic service requests, appointment scheduling, request-status tracking, secure payment facilitation, and controlled access to laboratory reports or other authorized documentation. However, the final functionality, implementation schedule, and scope of services remain subject to continued technical development, testing, and approval by both parties.
