Top athletes, celebrities, and government officials gathered at the New Orleans Jazz Museum for the 38th Annual Leigh Steinberg Super Bowl Party, an event dedicated to raising awareness about brain health and supporting social causes. The event, produced by ZOē Productions, focused on launching the Leigh Steinberg Foundation for Concussion, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Brain Health.
The foundation aims to promote awareness, prevention, and solutions for brain injuries, with a particular emphasis on making collision sports safer. Highlighting the event's commitment to brain health, the program included the 12th Annual Brain Health Summit and a groundbreaking 'Music & the Mind' initiative exploring the relationship between music and mental wellness.
Notable attendees included Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry, former New Orleans Mayor Marc H. Morial, Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan, and performers like Big Freedia. The event also featured the 10th annual Steinberg Denicola Humanitarian Awards, recognizing leaders who demonstrate exceptional community dedication.
A significant highlight was the Brain and Biohacking Lounge, which showcased innovative technologies for brain health. The AgeTech Collaborative from AARP presented cutting-edge startups addressing cognitive decline, with VP Amelia Hay noting that one in ten adults over 45 report memory loss concerns.
The event raised funds for the National Urban League and created a unique partnership with Myndstream to produce a limited-edition vinyl album designed to positively impact brain function. By bringing together sports, entertainment, and health innovation, the Steinberg Super Bowl Party demonstrated a comprehensive approach to addressing critical societal challenges.
