The collaboration brings together Aegle Medical’s technology solutions and implementation support with LiverRight’s virtual hepatology network to create a more connected care pathway.
For physicians, health systems, and independent practices, the partnership offers a way to establish or expand comprehensive liver disease programs without building every component internally. Aegle Medical provides a consultative approach to technology evaluation, implementation, training, and ongoing support. LiverRight offers same-day interpretation services for liver elastography studies and same-week virtual access to its hepatology clinicians. Its Liververse™ referral system coordinates bloodwork, patient-reported outcomes, imaging, diagnosis, and longitudinal disease management.

Central to the partnership is the Mindray Hepatus-Series Transient Elastography Diagnostic Ultrasound Systems, which Aegle Medical exclusively distributes in the U.S. The Hepatus platform introduces Visualized Transient Elastography (ViTE), integrating real-time B-mode ultrasound visualization into elastography examinations. This allows operators to see liver anatomy, identify optimal measurement locations, and visually guide each acquisition while obtaining quantitative liver stiffness and attenuation measurements. The platform provides liver stiffness measurement (LSM) for fibrosis assessment and Liver UltraSound Attenuation (LiSA) for hepatic steatosis assessment.
