Meridian RV Lists Two Fifth-Wheel Specials With Combined $25,078 in Advertised Savings for BC Buyers

Meridian RV has published two fifth-wheel listings on its specials page with combined advertised price reductions of $25,078, giving buyers in British Columbia a rare side-by-side comparison of a new and a pre-owned model from the same Port Coquitlam dealership. The offers apply to separate vehicles and cannot be combined into a single purchase discount, according to the company’s announcement.

The new 2026 Keystone RV Coleman Legacy 2400REX, stock #8944, is listed at $64,888 against a list price of $81,966, an advertised difference of $17,078. The 29-foot trailer weighs 7,655 pounds and sleeps three, with a single slide-out, a rear entertainment area and a front bedroom that separate living and sleeping spaces.

The used 2026 Brinkley Model Z 2900, stock #9158, is advertised at $119,900 compared with a $127,900 list price, a reduction of $8,000. At 33 feet and 11,985 pounds, it sleeps four and includes three slide-outs, with a rear living area and kitchen island that differ from the Coleman Legacy layout. Meridian RV advises buyers to confirm current prices, availability and any additional charges before purchasing.

The listings matter beyond the discounts because they put the new-versus-used decision in concrete terms. Shoppers comparing 5th wheel trailers for sale in BC can weigh a lower purchase price against layout, weight and condition, while those searching used fifth wheel trailers for sale in BC are being directed to compare pre-owned models by model year, dimensions, equipment and price.

For used units, the company recommends reviewing maintenance records and inspecting roof seals, tires, plumbing, electrical components, appliances and slide-out operation, and verifying which accessories are included in the listed price. A pre-purchase inspection can identify repair needs that affect total ownership cost, and buyers can request details on warranties and documented repairs.

Towing requirements are a central consideration in British Columbia, where mountain routes, campground access and parking can be affected by a trailer’s length and height. Buyers should check their truck’s towing capacity, payload rating, hitch compatibility and the trailer’s loaded weight, and should consider campsite dimensions and seasonal road restrictions for longer trips.

“Buyers comparing fifth wheels should consider the trailer’s weight, floorplan, and sleeping capacity alongside its price. Checking towing compatibility before purchase helps match the vehicle to the customer’s intended travel needs,” said Tom Ramsay, President of Meridian RV.

Meridian RV, founded in 1967 and family-owned, operates an eight-acre facility in Port Coquitlam, BC, offering new and pre-owned RVs, rentals, parts and repair services.
