Military Spouse Leadership Development Program Opens Applications for Second 2025 Cohort

The Military Spouse Leadership Development Program (MSLDP) will provide 50 military spouses with an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and drive community change through a comprehensive virtual training program. Applications for the second cohort of 2025 are open from May 9 to June 6, targeting spouses of active military members, veterans, and Gold Star families.

The intermediate-level program will cover critical leadership topics including meta-leadership, crisis management, conflict resolution, communication, and mental health. Participants will receive two prestigious certifications: a leadership certificate from Harvard University's National Preparedness Leadership Initiative and a Mental Health Ally certificate from Psych Hub.

Beyond skill development, the program offers significant long-term benefits for participants. Graduates will be inducted into the Military Spouse Alumni Network, providing ongoing networking and learning opportunities. This initiative represents a strategic investment in military spouse professional development, recognizing their potential as community leaders and change agents.

The program, presented by Car Donation Foundation's Vehicles for Veterans and organized by the Military Spouse Advocacy Network, underscores the critical role military spouses play in supporting and strengthening military communities. By equipping these individuals with advanced leadership skills, the initiative aims to create a network of empowered, skilled professionals capable of driving meaningful social impact.
