Nevada Organic Phosphate Begins 2026 Drilling at Murdock Mountain Project

Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP; OTCQB: NOPFF) has commenced drilling on the first hole of its 2026 exploration program at the Murdock Mountain Project, the company announced this week. The initial deep drill hole, designated MM26-7, is designed as a 100-meter step-back from last fall's MM25-1 to further evaluate the thickness, continuity and phosphate grade characteristics of the Meade Peak Upper Phosphatic Zone at depth.

The company reported that minor technical drilling issues were identified and are being addressed by contractor FTE Drilling, with operations expected to resume shortly and no material delays anticipated. This development marks a significant step in the company's ongoing exploration efforts at the project, which is located in northeast Nevada.

Nevada Organic Phosphate is a junior exploration company with an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed measuring 6.6 kilometers long. Additional applications extend the potential strike of rock phosphate to over 30 kilometers. The company believes this to be the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America. The project is situated close to the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and near the rail head to California, providing logistical advantages for potential future development.

The importance of this drilling program lies in its potential to confirm and expand the resource base at Murdock Mountain. Phosphate is a critical component in fertilizers, and domestic sources are strategic for agricultural supply chains. For investors, successful delineation of high-grade phosphate zones could enhance the project's economic viability. The company's ability to resume drilling quickly after minor setbacks indicates operational resilience, which is a positive signal for stakeholders.
