Nicola Mining Signs Profit Share Agreement with Red Eye Resources for British Columbia Mill

Nicola Mining Inc. (NASDAQ: NICM) (TSXV: NIM) (FSE: HLIA) has signed a Mining and Milling Profit Share Agreement with privately held Red Eye Resources Ltd., allowing qualifying mineralized material to be transported to Nicola's Merritt Mill near Merritt, British Columbia, for processing. The agreement focuses exclusively on precious-metal opportunities, with profits shared equally between the companies.

According to the company, the Merritt Mill is the only facility in British Columbia permitted to accept third-party gold and silver mill feed from throughout the province. This unique positioning makes the agreement a strategic move for both companies, as it expands Nicola's strategy of using the mill as a centralized processing platform for high-grade precious-metal projects.

The collaboration combines Red Eye Resources' project-generation and mining expertise with Nicola's permitted milling infrastructure and existing projects. For project owners, the mill provides access to established processing infrastructure without the capital requirements and permitting timelines associated with building standalone facilities. This could significantly lower the barriers to entry for junior mining companies looking to process their ore in British Columbia.

The agreement is part of Nicola's broader business model, which includes signing similar profit share agreements with high-grade gold projects. The company maintains a 100% owned mill and tailings facility near Merritt, and its fully permitted mill can process both gold and silver mill feed via gravity and flotation processes.

In addition to its milling operations, Nicola owns 100% of the New Craigmont Project, a high-grade copper property covering 10,913 hectares along the southern end of the Guichon Batholith, adjacent to Highland Valley Copper, Canada's largest copper mine. The company also owns 100% of the Treasure Mountain Property, which includes 30 mineral claims and a mineral lease spanning over 2,200 hectares.

This agreement comes at a time when the mining industry is seeing increased interest in precious metals, and the ability to process ore locally could reduce costs and environmental impacts associated with shipping material long distances. For British Columbia, it reinforces the province's position as a mining-friendly jurisdiction with the infrastructure to support mineral development.

Investors and industry observers will be watching to see how this partnership unfolds and whether it leads to additional agreements of a similar nature.
