Niqo Robotics Expands RoboWeeder Lineup with North America's Widest Hooded AI Weeder

Niqo Robotics, the physical AI company building the intelligence layer for farm machines, is expanding its U.S. lineup of AI weeding robots with the RoboWeeder F50, which the company says is North America's widest hooded AI weeder. The F50 has a 46-foot working width extendable to 50 feet, and U.S. growers can now choose from three models: the 20-foot flagship RoboWeeder, the 24-foot F24, and the wide-format F50.

The F50 will be unveiled at FIRA USA 2026, taking place October 20-22 in Yakima, giving growers a first look ahead of its 2027 commercial release. The announcement matters for specialty crop growers because it gives them a wider, more efficient option for mechanical weeding, potentially reducing labor costs and reliance on chemical herbicides. The expansion also signals that AI-driven farm equipment is moving from niche trials to a broader commercial rollout in the United States.

Every machine runs on Niqo's AI, which the company says now trains faster than any other system in the industry. Niqo can deploy a working algorithm for a new crop overnight with more than 85% accuracy, then refine it to 99.6% commercial accuracy within weeks. That speed lets Niqo build machines "localized to the zip code," matched to local crops, farm sizes, and field conditions. For growers, this means equipment can be tailored to their specific operations rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

The RoboWeeder robots use Niqo Sense, the company's proprietary AI, to identify crops and weeds plant by plant, handling precision weeding, thinning, and beneficial spraying in one smart pass. Niqo builds its machines to fit local crops and farm sizes, from small and midsize farms to large operations, and sells them without a subscription. The company's approach could lower the barrier to adoption for farmers who are hesitant about recurring costs.

For the broader agriculture industry, the F50's wide format may help address labor shortages and increase efficiency in specialty crop production. The 2027 commercial release will be a key test of whether AI weeding can scale to the widest row-crop and specialty-crop applications.
